Fig Vincotto
Vincotto literally translates as ‘cooked wine’ and is made by slowly cooking and reducing grape must then ageing it in oak barrels. This caramelises the sugars and creates sweet, dried fruit flavours.
Vincotto Fig is made from a blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia grapes in which figs have ripened for six months. This vinegar is rich and smooth with a sweet flavour of figs.
