Quesos Cerrón’s history dates back to 1987, when Juana Garcia and Juan Jose began making goat’s milk cheeses in the basement of their family home, following Juana’s mother’s traditional cheese making methods. Juana and Juan, many years later, remain committed to showcasing the very best of Spanish cheese, using only local, organic, high quality milk.
Cerrón 24+ is a hard, aged, goat’s milk cheese with a crystalline texture from the long ageing process. As it melts on the palate, it becomes creamy and has a rich fermented fruit flavour with a lasting earthiness, goat’s milk character and hint of burnt caramel.
This cheese is aged for over two years and is made with organic, pasteurised goat’s milk and traditional rennet.
