Firetree are bean to bar chocolate makers based in Cambridgeshire. They source the finest cocoa beans from remote volcanic islands with nutrient rich soils, then ferment and solar dry the beans before they are roasted and turned into chocolate.
Malekula cocoa is very rare and comes from a cocoa farming village in the centre of the island, which has a single church, store and track. Cocoa production here is so small that it doesn’t even register on the world’s cocoa scale of production.
