About the Producer

In 1987, Brian and Suellen met and, two years later in 1989, they were married. That very day, Brian planted the very first wines at Grove Estate and together, their vineyards now span 100 hectares. Grove Estate is in New South Wales, Australia.

Brian and his team specialise in cool climate wine grapes in the Hilltops’ red volcanic soils. Thanks to the unique micro climates across his vineyards, he is able to grow a wide variety of grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Chardonnay, Semillon, Nebbiolo and many more.

In 1997, the grove Estate partners decided to keep a small parcel of exceptional fruit from the vineyards and produce wines under their own name.

The 2013 Kingsvale Shiraz is a rare wine, from a boutique site. The 2013 season was exceptionally dry so this is very limited production and is richer and fuller bodied as a result of the weather.
