This Scotch Bonnet and ginger sauce has a vibrant flavour and slow burning heat. The recipe was inspired by similar recipes for Jamaican jerk sauce, with a bright ginger flavour and hints of citrus. It is zesty, warm and incredibly versatile. Heat level: Medium Hot.

Queen Majesty is a 100% female owned, independent, small batch hot sauce company, within which all the sauces are handmade in New York City using all natural, fresh and carefully selected ingredients. The company never use sugar, Xanthan gum or preservatives and instead combine exceptional chillies with ingredients like garlic cloves, bell peppers, fresh citrus juice and extra virgin olive oil.

Erica, aka Queen Majesty, took inspiration from her Sicilian grandmother and began slow cooking small batch sauces in the early 2000s.

Queen Majesty works with Hunger Free America, a nonprofit group aiming to end domestic hunger, and One Love Community Fridge, a multi generational movement that centres access to fresh food, nutrition education and sustainability.
