San Marzano Tomatoes

These San Marzano tomatoes are grown on the volcanic soil of Mount Vesuvius, hand-harvested seasonally and sun ripened for maximum flavour. They are then gently cooked in a water bath. San Marzano are sweeter and more flavoursome than other varieties, with a dense flesh. These tomatoes are peeled but kept whole.
