Firetree are bean to bar chocolate makers based in Cambridgeshire. They source the finest cocoa beans from remote volcanic islands with nutrient rich soils, then ferment and solar dry the beans before they are roasted and turned into chocolate.
Cocoa is sourced from KarKar Island, a volcanic island that rises straight out of the sea and is visible fro miles around. Firetree work with two farming families here, the Goodyears and the Middletons, who are the main employers on the island and who are well known for their fair and sustainable prices.
