Firetree are bean to bar chocolate makers based in Cambridgeshire. They source the finest cocoa beans from remote volcanic islands with nutrient rich soils, then ferment and solar dry the beans before they are roasted and turned into chocolate.
The cocoa beans for the Madagascan bars are sourced from the Sambirano valley in the northwest of the island. The farms Firetree work with are small family businesses, who grow hardwood trees to provide shade for the cocoa, create a more diverse ecosystem.
