Raw honeycomb is an incredibly nutritious product, made up of, not only the unprocessed raw honey, but also the comb itself. Honeycomb contains all the pollen, vitamins, amino acids, minerals enzymes, propolis and aromatics that are present in the hive, so is exceptionally good for you. The edible wax cells also preserve the honey in a unique way and offer a fantastic flavour, with deep floral and herbal notes. This raw honeycomb is exceptionally delicious on your cheeseboard, but can also be spread on toast or enjoyed with fruit, yoghurts and desserts.

About the Producer

The Ukrainian Apiary in Cambridge is run by Nataliia Yartseva and her husband, Serhii Yartsev. Serhii has over twenty years of experience beekeeping in Ukraine and the couple now run a small, independent family business here in Cambridge, managing twelve beehives.
The couple work with James Peck at PX Farms, where their bees now pollinate his local fields and collect nectar, as well as pollinating local wildflower meadows, including phacelia blossom and mustard fields in the summer.
