Chestnut Puree, Clement Faugier
In 1882, Clément Faugier, a young man from Ardèche, created the first glacé chestnut factory in the area, after an epidemic in local silkworm farming left the area in crisis and many people out of jobs. The company, a full century later, still use the very best quality chestnuts and their expert confectionery knowledge and artisanal know how to create exceptional chestnut products which are grounded in Ardèche tradition.
