Firetree are bean to bar chocolate makers based in Cambridgeshire. They source the finest cocoa beans from remote volcanic islands with nutrient rich soils, then ferment and solar dry the beans before they are roasted and turned into chocolate.
The Soloman Island beans come from Guadalcanal and Makira, which have a warm, humid climate and rich, volcanic soil. They are sourced from two single estate farms, the first is run by a husband, wife and sisters team, and the second from an all female farm who are incredibly experiences at growing and fermenting cocoa beans.
