The History, Dairy & Farm, Animals & Maker

Saint Félicien is a glorious soft cow's milk cheese from the Rhone-Alpes region of France, named after the village in which it was first created and sold. The cheese is sold in beautiful terracotta coloured ceramic dishes to keep it together as it softens and ripens.

The cheese dates back to around the 15th century and was originally made from goat's milk, but since becoming more popular, has been created solely with cow's milk.
