Firetree are bean to bar chocolate makers based in Cambridgeshire. They source the finest cocoa beans from remote volcanic islands with nutrient rich soils, then ferment and solar dry the beans before they are roasted and turned into chocolate.

Cocoa farming is relatively new to the Philippines and many small farms there still don’t have their own fermentary. The cocoa that Firetree sources here comes from Mindanao Island and grows on the volcanic soil slopes between Mount Apo and Davao city.
