José Argente invented a recipe for the ultimate crisps a century ago in 1924, which he sold to neighbours and nearby villages, and the very same recipe is used today to manufacture the company’s high quality crisps. José’s grandson now runs the company and has introduced special fryers which prevent excess oil ending up in the final product.
