About the Producer

Calico Chocolate was established in 2018 in the heart of Zsámbék in Hungary. Founder Mark Dani has worked in the confectionery industry for 15 years, and has over a decade’s experience in the chocolate ingredient wholesale trade. He has worked with some of the world’s leading gourmet chocolate brands to help them branch into the Hungarian market. He then went on to study with some of the best chocolate chefs in Belgium to further deepen his understanding of and passion for the product. The next step was to create his own luxury chocolate product so Calico was born. The company now make a range of filled chocolates, pralines, candied fruits, marshmallows, pâtes de fruit and chocolate sticks.
