Lazy Scientist was founded in 2018 by a former pharmaceutical chemist with a passion for fermentation and flavour. Initially two 2-litre fermenters made up the entire production unit, where fermented pickles, kimchi, kombucha and miso were created. Today, 50kg barrels are packed with the tastiest ingredients to create Lazy Scientist’s hot sauces, using fresh, rare, homegrown chillies and a range of other locally sourced ingredients.
