Roussas dairy in Thessaly, Central Greece are well known for producing exceptional quality feta. The dairy was founded in 1952 and continues to adhere to traditional dairy producing methods passed down from their nomadic forefathers. Roussas feta is made with a combination of goat's and ewe's milk from the surrounding mountainous areas.
While Roussas produce a number of different fetas, we only sell the barrel aged variety, the highest quality and most traditional of all, with exceptional flavour. Aged in beech barrels for two years, this is as authentic and premium as you can buy.
The dairy strongly oppose the use of any GMO’s in their animal feed and are committed to an entirely natural product. They also use recycled and recyclable materials, or compostable materials, for their packaging.
