Manchego with Rosemary
This farmhouse Rosemary Manchego is made from whole, raw Manchega sheeps milk in the Castile-La Mancha region of central Spain. The sheep graze freely on the grassy plains of La Mancha as well as rotated cereal crop fields and vineyards, consuming high protein leguminous crops which in turn result in a rich, flavoursome and superb quality milk. The entire cheese making process is done by hand by the family cheesemaster.
Rosemary Manchego is a hard, dry, aged Manchego style cheese , entirely covered with aromatic, savoury rosemary. The manchego has strong, full flavour with nutty and earthy undertones and a fragrant, floral aroma.
This cheese is aged from 6 to 12 months and is made with raw ewes’ milk and traditional rennet. Contains egg (lysozyme)
