Ruby Port, Smith Woodhouse
Smith Woodhouse was set up in 1784 by Christopher Smith, a one-time member of Westminster Parliament. In the 1970’s the Symington family took over, they are a world leading y of premium ports and one of the best Portuguese wine producers.
This port is robust and fruity and presents a fantastic mix of red and black fruit, boasting dark plum and damson flavours on the palate. It also has a sweet, warming, spicy note that is balanced with dark chocolate and rich, intense fruit.
