Pesto alla Genovese
La Favorita was established shortly after the Second World War when the founder began trading local specialities including mushrooms and chestnuts, for anchovies from the local fishermen. The company grew and moved into the production and sale of sauces and preserves made from the very best, local Ligurian produce.
This pesto is fragrant, full of flavour and tastes like freshly harvested basil. It is made to a vegetarian recipe (no Parmesan) with no artificial preservatives, flavourings or colourings.
