La Vecchia Dispensa Condiment with Balsamic Vinegar and Fig
La Vecchia Dispensa has been ageing Balsamic Vinegar in precious wooden casks in Castelvetro di Modena, for four generations. In 1973, a small restaurant was opened on the main square, where the first recipes with balsamic were created and the guests became so enamoured with the product that they begged to take some home as a souvenir. This was the first time their vinegar was bottled and offered out. Soon afterwards, a small shop opened on the family estate and by the 90’s the vinegar was sold on markets both in Italy and internationally.
This condimento is made up of 90% Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and 10% fig extract and is aged in oak casks for a fruity take on their classic, high quality Balsamic. Total weight: 100ml.
