Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire is made just on the outskirts of Goosnargh Village at Beesley Farm, where the family have resided for over 70 years. This award winning cheese is still made by hand using raw milk from the dairy’s herd of Holstein Friesian cows.
Kirkham’s Lancashire has a dry, crumbly texture and sharp, tangy, clean and lactic flavour.
This cheese is aged for 3 to 6 months and is made with raw cows’ milk and traditional rennet.
