Cremet, Sharpham's Dairy
Sharpham’s Dairy opened up in 1981 in the coach yard of Sharpham House and moved, in 2003, into a custom built creamery next to the company’s wonderful winery. Traditional processes are still followed to this day and the company have received endless awards for their beautiful range of cheese.
Cremet is a soft, goats’ milk cheese, enriched with cows’ cream, with an ultra creamy and decadent texture, which is beautifully mousse like when young and very rich when ripe. It has a mildly earthy flavour and light goat taste and pairs beautifully with a glass of dry sparkling wine.
Cremet is made with pasteurised goats’ milk and vegetarian rennet.
