Caerffili, Caws Cenarth
Caws Cenarth Caerffili is made on the dairy’s farm in Lancych, a rural hamlet near Cenarth in scenic Carmarthenshire. The dairy believe that the terroir - the rainfall, sunshine and coastal climate of South West Wales, as well as the love they put in, make their cheese truly unique.
Caerffili is a traditional, crumbly, semi firm cheese with a distinctive lemony and lactic flavour. You’ll also notice earthy notes and a mineral flavour in this cheese.
This cheese is aged for 4 to 6 weeks and is made with organic, pasteurised cows’ milk and vegetarian rennet.
