A l’Olivier Passionfruit Vinegar
A l’Olivier has founded in 1822 in the Marais quarter of paris by Monsieur Popelin, a pharmacist. He believed that olive oil had many health virtues and strongly believed that the Mediterranean way of life was a healthy one. The shop was purchased by oil merchant Jean Claude Blanvillain in 1978 and in 1985, opened workshops in Provence, a stone’s throw from the olive groves themselves. The family olive oil business still operates there today, with additional sites in Poitiers to make nut oils and in Paris for distribution operations.
This passionfruit vinegar is fresh, sour and smooth and pairs fantastically with pan fried fish, langoustines or exotic salads.
