Schorren Organic Milk Gouda

This magnificent Schorren is made from a herd of just 80 Jersey cows on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee, in the province of South Holland. Jersey cows have extremely rich milk, high in protein , vitamins and calcium so produce exceptional, award winning cheese.

Schorren is a decadent, ultra rich and creamy hard cheese with fantastic saltiness and good crystallisation. Think French Salted Butter in cheese form. A firm staff favourite.

This cheese is aged for 1 year and is made with organic, pasteurised cows’ milk and traditional rennet.
