Ramps Kase
Albert Kraus, Bavarian cheesemaker, started out his cheese journey interning at a large scale dairy before turning his focus to small, artisanal cheese production. He launched his own dairy in 2008 and uses milk from his brother’s Brown Swiss cows to create his original recipes.
Ramps Kase is a rind washed, firm Bavarian cheese, packed with wild garlic. It has a luxurious, creamy texture, subtly sweet taste and full garlic flavour from the chopped wild garlic leaves. This cheese is a seasonal delight not to be missed.
Ramps Kase is aged for 3 months and made with raw cows’ milk and traditional rennet.
